HER GRATIFYING FLAVOR

She told me I am the one
She told me I am her second to none
She whispers this after I told her a plan
And was eager to have fun.
I wanted my wish to be done
Because she is the one I always see whenever I run
From a cutthroat with a gun
Startlingly, I wasn’t even part of her first eleven.
She deep rooted this after an argument
Which I thought would make things better
I shrugged off the comments due to the commitment
But her despondency made me deprecate her character.
My own is no more
But I still find it arduous to grow
Because I feel her gratifying flavor
With her beauteous curved blueprint that made me suffer.
It is now challenging to fall for the taste of love
The love that flew like a dove
Which drained the pockets of my soul
And then stepped on my goal.
