After Medikal’s historic fiasco at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, the self-acclaimed Dancehall King, Charles Nii Armah aka Shatta Wale has offered his support to the embattled musician.

Medikal, a member of the Arab Money Group (AMG) was nominated for 7 categories including the coveted New Artiste of The Year category.

Although Medikal was one of the many artistes who was tipped to win many awards especially New Artiste of The Year he came up very short as he failed to get one award from the seven categories in which he was nominated.

With the "Sowutuom" rapper getting no awards on the night some people took to social media to make fun of him, but his partner and co-performer, Sister Deborah was quick to issue words of support to the artiste.
He has not lost anything. No one can take away his talent and drive.

She also use her Twitter platform to express her disappointment at how Charterhouse, organisers of the show failed to do the right thing with Medikal's nominations.
Don't nominate an artiste 7 times and say he should do better.If he was just good, like you no for add am.Nominations be only for best ones.

This year's Vodafone Ghana Music awards came of on April 8 2017 at the Accra International Conference center after series of setbacks which resulted in the late start of the program.
